JPH started with the modest goal to supply operators to construction for self-drive plant hire. There was also a strong motivation to put family first. Today JPH’s founder Tony Chamberlain – a twenty-year veteran of the industry who has an extensive knowledge of construction, acquired through his working life in plant hire for big-time players such as Quattro Plant and Readypower Plant Rental – works alongside his children, Jake, Poppy and Holly.
He has worked on colossal projects such as Crossrail. He has also worked for industry giants like Balfour Beatty, Network Rail and Colas Rail. At present Tony is busy overseeing civil construction building of new units for the new cross-county train tracks.
With an accent on ground works to begin with and with a determination to diversify, our business has recently expanded into the formidable outfit it is today.
Our team of operators comprises only the best people: they have completed rigorous training (including CPCS), they have demonstrated machine proficiency, they have at least 20 years’ experience on construction projects and they have shown that they are dedicated workers who can stand behind the ethos of our business.
In addition we can provide operators with qualifications such as PTS an LUL and are deeply invested in ongoing training to keep all of our operators up-to-date with Health and Safety and to uphold the strictest environmental and quality standards.

All of our employees are thoroughly trained in our health and safety procedures. This means they are not only efficient and productive, but also knowledgeable about the best ways to avoid on-the-job accidents and how to improve the general health and safety of the worksite.
